He is a graduate in Advertising and Journalism from the Basque University. He has a Master in the Mechanization of Information organized by the European Community. He has taken part in many courses involving specialization in Multimedia, Design and Internet. Dicky del Hoyo has worked in the Basque Public Radio in the editing of reports and directed `Frontera Azul´,which is a programme about new technologies. This programme received the MTV Prize for being the best programme about divulging new technologies. Afterwards he collaborated with Radio Nacional de España and with magazines belonging to the editorial group Heres, for which he was correspondent in the Basque Country. In Euskal Telebista he took on the job as editor of informative and cultural themes for 3 years . For two years he took charge of the Advertising department of a local television station called Tele Donosti. He is a regular collaborator with the newspaper “ Bilbao “and he belongs to the International Association of Writers of HTML. He is also a designer of Internet. Nowadays he is responsible of the TICs department in a basque communication pool.
