I was there for the first time last year (in November). It is really mysterious...

@Bernie: It's not you, there is a 1pixel-wide gray line at the right side of the image. Probably something went wrong when Bosti resized/cropped the image. But anyway - I like it ;)

and yes something went wrong by cropping.. can I change photo?

The camera is not important; what it is really important is your eye. I've shot some great pictures with my compact camera and real crap with my digital reflex one.
And this is a beautiful photo nevertheless.No, really.

That is a very nice panorama. It sure do look cold. We don't have anything like that in the south part of California.
